Hudson Valley Applied Behavior Analyst, PLLC (HVABA) began in a small church classroom once a week in the evenings. From that humble beginning, we grew into all that HVABA offers today. HVABA (formerly HVBS) was founded in 2009 by Sheila Jodlowski, Ph.D., BCBA-D, LBA. "Dr. J" as she's known by clients and staff had experienced so much success using ABA in her self-contained classroom setting and wanted to bring much needed ABA services to the Hudson Valley area.

Interns

HVABA is a facility that supports individuals entering our field. As such, we work with local colleges to provide opportunities for students (undergraduate and graduate levels) in the fields of education and psychology to gain knowledge about our science. Students are supervised by licensed behavior analysts and have a rigorous set of modules to complete before working with our children. We have found that our interns leave HVABA with an unparalleled level of experience, but many of them choose to stay and take permanent positions with us! Learn more.
